25 MW have been connected to the Swedish grid by the German wind turbine manufacturer Kenersys - its capability is verified by impressive data of availability.
“The K100 2.5 MW wind turbine series have a continuous availability rate above 98%, that show analyses of the Swedish projects in 20011 – in Travad, Bralanda and Skagern“, as Andreas von Bobart, managing director of Kenersys Europe GmbH.
“The three turbines we have connected for TL Vind AB in Travad in January 2011 have generated a total yield of 24 Mio. kilowatt hours during that year, the three K100 2.5MW of Väner Vind AB at its Bralanda site more than 12 Mio. kilowatt hours since July 2011. Even both turbines of Slättens Vind at Skagern site generated 4.9 Mio. kilowatt hours since October”, according to von Bobart.
This success is based on the Kenersys design concept providing highly reliable and highly efficient turbines: even the very first turbine of the K100 2.5MW series is recognised as one of the most productive turbines within the whole Vattenfall on- and offshore fleet. This turbine was erected in March 2009 at the Vattenfall test center “Näsudden” on the island of Gotland.
